Residues are grouped into cluster and each cluster is evaluated individually. This parameter specifies the maximum gap size, or the maximum number of non-mutable and non-target residues within a cluster. The default for this parameter is 2 residues, meaning that an interruption by up to two non-mutable, non-target residues is acceptable. Longer gaps will cause the cluster to be split into two. For best results, mutations should be introduced close to each other, with no more than 2 residue gaps.
